1. Manmarziyaan

This movie will be the second romantic movie of Anurag Kashyap’s career after “Dev.D” starring Abhay Deol in lead. Manmarziyaan is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. This film cast Tapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Abhisekh Bachchan in lead. The story of the film was written by Kanika Dhillon, who is better known for the screenplay writer of Tamil-Telugu bilingual Size Zero. Editing of the film was done by Aarti Bazaaz, who received praise for her work in Anurag previous films like Black Friday and the unreleased classic Paanch and recently premiered Netflix original Sacred Games which was co-directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.
The music of the film was composed by Amit Trivedi, still, none of the songs is a chartbuster, however, some of the music lovers liking the songs F for Fyar. The title of the film was influenced by the song Manmarziyaan in Vikramaditya’s Lootera.

2. Gali Guleiyan

Taking the second place on our list of Best Bollywood Movies in September is Manoj Bajpayee starring psychological drama Gali Guleiyan. Gali Guleiyan was premiered in many film festivals across the globe with the English title of In The Shadows, premiered in Busan Film Festival on 14 October 2017 with a standing ovation. After that In The Shadows showcase in different film festivals including MAMI.
Gali Guleiyan trailer released on 17 August 2018 on youtube with a very good reception from Indian critics, the trailer introduce a man who is trapped in the city walls. Hollywood Reporter praised the film for its twists. The film also cast incredible performers like Shahana Goswami and Ranvir Shorey in pivotal roles.

3. Sui Dhaaga

One more Varun Dhawan movie on the way, the second film of this year. The previous film art movie October directed by Shoojit Sircar was well praised by Indian and International critics and also some of the class audience and hardcore Varun Dhawan fans for its shuttle nature of characters in the movie.
Coming back to Sui Dhagaa, by its trailer the film looking a pure Indian film of about middle-class people. Varun Dhawan in the role of Mauji, a tailor, and Anushka as Mamta. The film was directed by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga is his third film after 10 ml Love and Dum Laga Ke Haisha starring Ayushman and Bhumi which was also produced by YRF. By the wonderful trailer, both lead actors looking lovely and also Ashish Verma and Raghuvir Yadav who are in a pivotal role. Sui Dhaaga is one of the most hyped films of the recent time and by its commercial values, trades are already sure about the film will be a profitable venture.

4. Helicopter Eela

Helicopter Eela is woman-centric Indian Hindi-language film directed by Pradeep Sarkar. Produced by Ajay Devgn and features Kajol Devgn in the lead role as an aspiring singer and single mother and is written by Mitesh Shah and Anand Gandhi, based on the Gujarati play Beta, Kaagdo, written by Anand Gandhi, director of well-known art house film Ship of Theseus.
After a long time, Pradeep Sarkar is coming back in the directorial field, who is known for his debut film Parineeta which was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Manto is a biographical film based on the real life of writer Saadat Hasan Manto, which was premiered on Cannes Film Festival a year ago. This will be third-time Rajashri Deshpande after Mc Mafia and Sacred Games. Tahir Raj Bhasin playing a pivotal role in Manto and Javed Akhtar is playing a cameo as Abid Ali.

6. Batti Gul Meter Chalu

Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a comedy-drama written by Siddhartha Singh. The story of electricity theft in rural India directed by Shree Narayana Singh, who is better known for last year super hit film Toilet Ek Prem Katha starring Akshay Kumar in lead.
