geetha govindam review

Geetha Govindam directed by Parasuram is not a perfect movie, despite its flaws Geetha Govindam is worth watching a movie. Vijay Devarakonda, who did one of the most excellent performance by any other Telugu movie actor in Arjun Reddy. After the enormous commercial success of Arjun Reddy, Vijay became an overnight star. But comparing Geetha Govindam with Arjun Reddy does not make any justice to Vijay Devarakonda. Arjun Reddy is a short-tempered, drug addict, football lover and also a doctor, and now Vijay Govind is an entirely different boy. Geetha Govindam is a romantic comedy-drama about a handsome 25 years old “Vijay Govind” and her colleague. Overall Geetha Govindam is not a path-breaking, but a worth watching for the lead performances, specially Geetha’s performance and Rashmika Mandanna makes it more enjoyable.

Actor’s Performance :

The lead actors have to do so much that, the supporting actors have very less screen presence but the writer “John” didn’t give any dimension to other characters. Cameo’s done by Anu, and Nithya Menon is not necessary for this movie. Venella Kishore, one more most exceptional actor of Tollywood who has done excellent acting in recent spy thriller Goodachari is not given enough space to explore more, but he makes his presence well. As I said, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Devarakonda have a lot of things to showcase, and they have just nailed it. From Geetha Govindam, both of them has proved their capability. Geetha and Vijay Govind look enjoyable in the same frame, and this credit goes to the director Parasuram.

Technical Aspects:

Geetha Govindam is a medium budget movie, produced by Bunny Vyas and distributed by Geetha Arts. Geetha Arts has given some of the major blockbusters to Indian Film Industry, and now correctly distributing such movie in a non-working day is quite commendable. The Direction of the film is quite good, at least it shows he had made justice to the script. The cinematography of this film is not up to mark, and it might be fixed in the post-production.
Most of the audience came to the theatre after listening to the chartbuster song ” Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale” , and in the movie, it sounds Gopi Sunder has done one of the most beautiful work till now.
